Dear Sir/Madam,
Hi, my name is Emma Kuzmiuk, i am a year 12 Design and technology student and for my major work i am making a healthy lifestyle magazine for 8-13 year old girls. I am hoping to print the magazine once it is completed.
It is important in designing my magazine that I make it in a format that is commerically printed. Therefore I was wondering if you could please tell me -
- What are standard magazine sizes (i was hoping to make a magazine similarly sized to young magazines such as "total girl" and "K-Zone" etc)
- What are standard magazine font sizes
- Do you have a minimum requirement as to how many magazine copies must be printed? and how much approximately per copy?
- colour limitations
- Are there any other specific (aesthetic) criteria which magazines must meet
